Northern Orienteering Championships 2025

I was asked to design the logo and visual identity for the Northern Orienteering Championships 2025 at Angle Tarn Pikes, a beautiful area known for its rugged landscape and stunning views of the Lake District.

The brief included a few key themes to focus on:

- The rolling hills and natural beauty of the Lake District
- Features of the region’s industrial history, like viaducts, old mills, and ironwork
- A clear orienteering flag symbol that is easy to read and understand for the orienteering community

I created several design drafts, balancing local geography and history with the clarity needed for a sporting event logo. Each design included the required text:

- Northern Orienteering Championships
- 2025
- Angle Tarn Pikes

This project shows my ability to mix artistic design with practical branding. I aimed to create a visual identity that speaks to the specific audience while being suitable for print, digital, and merchandise uses.
