Bitmaster is my design response to the 'Retro-Tech' brief. The goal
of this project is to explore how graphic design and animation can
be used to celebrate the unique qualities of retro technology. Rather than losing the social, cultural and human value of such technology, can we embrace it and preserve it for future generations?
Bitmaster is a new gaming console that aims to bring back the nostalgia of 8-bit gaming into the modern era. Drawing inspiration from classic consoles such as the PlayStation 1 and the SNES, Bitmaster is designed to introduce 8-bit gaming to current and future generations.
As part of this project, I have reimagined some of today's most popular video games, including FC24, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3, Red Dead Redemption 2, and Forza Motorsport. All of these games will be playable on the Bitmaster console, bringing back the nostalgic charm of retro gaming to today's gamers.
